Old Business
The Girl Scout Demo was a great success. Toi did a wonderful job organizing the demo and making it fun for our members who participated. We had a great turnout of members to support the Demo and I thank you all for your support.
As mentioned earlier, we got very good publicity from the demo and several inquiries.
New Business
A motion was made by Baroness Eleanor and seconded by Lady Andrea to accept Lady Brigit of Longwood as our next Herald. The vote passed unanimously. Congratulations, Lady Brigit.
Boredom War: Its all good. Our Autocrat reports lots of merchant interest. Theresa is running Troll and she put out a message for volunteers and has a schedule made. Mistress Susana has also put out a message for help with set up and break down. Eleanor still could use some volunteers to help with dayboard prep. She also announced that there will be no dogs allowed again this year. Also, no ground fires again this year. Anyone who can volunteer for even a short time, please contact Baroness Eleanor.
Duchess Katherine was present to talk about Les Jeux. She would like to add childrens activities and possibly an Arts and Sciences exhibit or competition. She welcomes ideas that go with the theme of Horses/hawks/hounds (no fighting, fencing or archery).
Dhanwanti showed the group the new chain mail Thrown Weapons banner that she commissioned from Lord Faolan. She will be using it for Boredom War. She also announced that she will be holding scheduled Thrown Weapons practices at her home. They will be posted on our schedule.
Lady Isabel announced that she will not seek a second term, when her term ends in August. Therefore, she is now accepting letters of intent for the position of Seneschal. The person chosen will work as her deputy until the August meeting, when they will officially take over the office.
Meeting adjourned.
